Lewsey out of quarter final
Josh Lewsey has been ruled out of the England side for the World Cup quarter-final against Wales at Suncorp Stadium.
The Wasps full-back is suffering from a hamstring injury, and he will be replaced in the starting line-up by Dan Luger, with Jason Robinson switching from wing to full-back.
Luger, who had earlier been drafted on to the bench as replacement for sore knee victim Iain Balshaw, was immediately promoted to the starting XV once Lewsey withdrew.
An official England spokesman earlier denied there was a problem with Lewsey, but the loss of their five-try star against Uruguay last weekend will be keenly felt.
Wasps centre Stuart Abbott will take over from Luger on the bench.
