Peel hoping to keep place

Wales scrum-half Dwayne Peel was surprised to start his team’s match against Italy and is now keeping his fingers crossed that he has nailed down the red number nine jersey.

After watching Gareth Cooper play in the opening World Cup matches, Peel thought he was likely to remain the understudy for the rest of the tournament.
