Ulster name team for Edinburgh clash

Second-placed Ulster will travel to Edinburgh, recent leaders of the Celtic League, for what is sure to be a searching test of their desire for success at Meadowbank on Friday (7.35pm).

Coach Alan Solomons has made three changes, including the introduction right wing James Topping, centre Ryan Constable and loose head Bryan Young, to keep Ulster in the winning habit.

Solomons knows that Edinburgh will be looking to make amends in front of the home crowd following last week's defeat.

"They will be determined to secure the points for a win but likewise we're determined to keep our momentum going," he said.

Ulster (v Edinburgh): B Cunningham; J Topping, R Constable, S Stewart, T Howe; A Larkin, K Campbell; Bryan Young, Paul Shields, R Moore, M Mustchin, M McCullough, A Ward (Capt), N Best, T McWhirter.

Replacements: M Sexton, R McCormack, R Frost, R Wilson, R Spee, S Mallon, S Young.
