Michalak given all-clear

France have received a boost ahead of their key Pool B clash with Scotland at Telstra Stadium on Saturday.

Leading points-scorer Frederic Michalak will be fit after X-rays on the rib injury he picked up in the scrappy win over Japan yesterday revealed nothing more than bruising.

Bernard Laporte’s side flew into Sydney today with no other injury concerns coming out of

yesterday's win and will be looking on with interest as Scotland put their 100% record on the line against the United States at Suncorp Stadium tomorrow.
