Ronan O'Gara looks likely to miss Ireland's opening World Cup warm-up international against Wales at Lansdowne Road on August 16.

O'Gara has had a pin inserted into his fractured scaphoid.

Ulster winger James Topping and Leinster prop Emmett Byrne are also doubtful.
