Ireland have beaten Japan 53-13 in their final pool game at the under-21 Rugby World Cup in England.

Back rower Niall Ronin scored a hat-trick of tries to send the Irish into the ninth-place play-off match against Italy.

The game kicks off at 1.15pm on Sunday in Henley.

New Zealand and Australia are due to meet in the final in Oxford on Sunday.
