Dawson out of England's All Black test
Matt Dawson is out of England’s Test match against New Zealand in Wellington after failing to overcome a thigh injury.
Dawson was named in the team yesterday but England doctor Simon Kemp has decided he is not 100% fit.
The Northampton half-back arrived in New Zealand with the injury and though the team management were confident that he would be fit in time for Saturday’s Test he has not responded to treatment.
Kyran Bracken will now start against the All Blacks with Andy Gomarsall promoted to the bench.
