Davey's Ponty swansong

Full-back Brett Davey makes his final appearance for Pontypridd in their last Welsh Premier League fixture against Cardiff at the Arms Park on Friday night, kick-off 7.05pm.

Davey who is joining the Gwent regional team stated: “This was a really hard decision to leave Pontypridd.

"It’s a special place for me. Leaving is going to be very emotional as I have some great memories.

“Last season was the best of my life but things change and people move on.”

Also selected at half-backs are Neil Jenkins and Paul John.

Jenkins, although selected for his hundredth game for Wales against the Barbarians, is keen to play against his former club at the Arms Park.
