Lansdowne heading for home draw
St Mary's College 27-36 Lansdowne
Lansdowne moved a step closer to securing a home draw for the semi-finals after a hard-earned win over St Mary's at Templeville Road this afternoon.
Their 36-27 win moved them to second in the table and they got off to a perfect start with back-to-back tries from Liam Toland and Jim O'Donovan, putting them 14-0 in front.
But Mary's came back well and by half-time they lead 19-17, thanks to some good kicking from fullback Barry Lynn.
However, after the break Lansdowne pulled away courtesy of tries from O'Donovan, Steven O'Connor and Captain Bohan.
