Rugby and hurling fans in Limerick and Waterford can breath a collective sigh of relief as the GAA has decided to bring forward their Allianz NHL tie to avoid clashing with Munster's Heineken Cup game at Welford Road.

It has been confirmed that the Division One, Group 2 clash with Waterford at Kilmallock on Sunday will begin at 1.30pm.

The time change was arranged so that the match between the two Munster counties, who meet in June in the Championship, would not coincide with Munster's Heineken Cup quarter-final tie against Leicester at Welford Road.
