Galthie ruled out of Irish clash

Defending Six Nations champions France's hopes of beating Ireland on Saturday week suffered a massive blow today when captain Fabien Galthie was ruled out with a dislocated shoulder.

The 33-year-old Stade Francais scrum-half injured his shoulder during the record equalling 38-3 thrashing of Scotland on Sunday and a scan on Tuesday revealed the seriousness of the damage.
