Daniel Herbert may move abroad
Wallaby and Reds midfielder Daniel Herbert has become the latest big-name player from the southern hemisphere linked with a possible move abroad, after the World Cup.
Herbert, capped 67 times by the Wallabies since his try-scoring debut against Ireland in 1994, is rumoured to be on Leicester's shopping list as a replacement for their current Wallaby midfielder Rod Kafer.
Besides being a powerful player on attack and defence, with loads of experience, Herbert is a good leader - he captained the Reds last season and is a former Wallaby vice-captain, while he is married to an Irish woman, entitling him to an Irish passport.
"I have spoken to some clubs. But at this stage I've made no decision over my future," he said.
