'Rock complete Schools Senior Cup line-up

Blackrock College completed the semi-final line-up with a hard-earned 35-17 win over St Gerard's College in the Leinster Schools Section C Senior Cup at Donnybrook on Wednesday.

The Bray school frightened 'Rock with first-half tries from Alan Scanlan and Mark Campbell, to hold a 14-12 lead approaching half-time.

However, Blackrock captain Kealan O'Toole grabbed a try and out-half Andrew Geraghty converted and kicked a penalty for a 22-14 lead at the break.

A late try by full-back David Nyhan sealed the win.
