Jones ruled out of Welsh squad

Wales coach Steve Hansen today confirmed Llanelli fly-half Stephen Jones will be ruled out of selection for the RBS Six Nations for around six weeks, after breaking a thumb during his club's victory over Cardiff at Stradey Park last night.

The injury comes as a major blow to Wales as they prepare to travel to Italy in their first match of the tournament on Saturday 15 February, but Hansen will not be adding fly-half cover to the 31-man squad named earlier this week.
