Eric Elwood was the creator at Lakelands Park as five-try Galwegians sent Terenure to their seventh defeat in eight games.

Level 12-12 at the break Galwegians were far sharper behind the scrum with Elwood's tactical kicking causing all sorts of problems.

'Nure took a 20-12 lead after 47 minutes before they wilted badly as John Cleary (twice), Dan McFarland and Alex Page added further tries.
