Jenkins a major doubt for Wales

Wales could be without fly-half Neil Jenkins for the start of the RBS Six Nations Championship, after the Pontypridd star broke his thumb during their Parker Pen Challenge Cup win over Connacht on Saturday.

Llanelli's Stephen Jones would in all likelihood have started at fly-half anyway against Italy in Rome in February 15 as they open their Six Nations campaign.
