O2 and Connacht sign sponsorship deal

O2 Ireland and Connacht Rugby have linked up in a sponsorship deal which will run for two years.

The signing of O2 is the latest addition to a list of companies lending their support to Connacht Rugby, with Bank of Ireland, Canterbury Clothing Company and Radisson SAS Hotels also on board.

Connacht Rugby CEO Gerry Kelly said that the decision by O2 to back Connacht was a major boost for the side.

"It is a vote of confidence in Connacht Rugby and I hope O2 benefit as much as we will from the arrangement," he said.
