New blood relishing Viadana encounter

Second rows Paul O'Connell and Donncha O'Callaghan will relish the opportunity to face Italian minnows Viadana on Friday night.

O'Callaghan has gotten over a dislocated finger, suffered against Connacht, and O'Connell is getting back to match fitness by making his first appearance in the European Cup this season.

On the bench, hooker James Blaney has a slight bronchial problem and back row Denis Leamy has a thigh injury.

If they do not recover, John Fogarty and Eddie Halvey will be the respective replacements.
