ERC introduces new sub system

The ERC is introducing a new system to its three European tournaments aimed at reducing the congestion on touchlines, which becomes progressively more frenetic as matches approach their conclusion.

The new system, to take effect immediately, involves substitution cards which the nominated team official must fill in and sign before any substitution takes place, including the reason for the substitution - tactical, injury, blood or sin bin - and the jersey numbers of the players involved.
