Connacht coach Steph Nel has announced a 22 man squad for Saturday evening's Parker Pen Challenge Cup first leg clash against Narbonne at Parc des Sports et de L'Amitie.

Connacht hooker Marnus Uijs is unavailable after suffering a knee injury against Munster in the Celtic League quarter-final on Friday evening. As a result Henry Bourke has been drafted into the squad.

Prop Dan McFarland, who missed that clash with Munster after suffering concussion in a club game, is still out but Colm Rigney is back in the squad after recovering from injury.

The Connacht side will be announced on Friday morning after a training session in Narbonne. The return leg will take place on Sunday week, December 15, at Corinthian Park with a 3pm kick-off.
