Greeff cited for dangerous tackle
South African fullback Werner Greeff has been cited following his dangerous tackle on England wing Phil Christophers during the Test match at Twickenham on Saturday.
Greeff was punished for the second-half incident, with referee Paddy O'Brien awarding England a penalty try as they romped to a record 53-3 victory.
But the match commissioner, Frenchman Paul Mauriac, has decided that Greeff must face the prospect of further punishment.
A disciplinary hearing has been convened for Tuesday and could be held in Dublin, with all parties using telephone conference facilities.
