When Ireland Development went in at half-time trailing 14-12 after the use of a gale force wind at Donnybrook, there was only going to be one winner.

Mark McHugh's four penalties were overtaken by an Argentine penalty try and another from Hernan Senillosa, both converted by outhalf Juan Miranda.

The only scores of the second half were tries from Martin Gaitan and Martin Scelzo in a poor, error-ridden match.
