Big guns back for Ireland
Ireland coach Eddie O’Sullivan has recalled several of his top players for Saturday’s match against Argentina at Lansdowne Road.
Girvan Dempsey, Keith Gleeson, Victor Costello and Gary Longwell all return after being rested for the resounding 64-17 win over Fiji.
Their return sees Kieron Dawson, Mick O’Driscoll, Eric Miller and Gordon D’Arcy drop out of the squad, while injury to wings John Kelly and Denis Hickie mean English-based three-quarter duo Justin Bishop and Geordan Murphy retain their places after both scoring tries at the weekend.
