Blackrock off to flying start

A fine display from capped Leinster outhalf, Emmet Farrell helped Blackrock to victory over the 2000 champions at Stradbrook this afternoon.

Blackrock were up 15-0 at half time thanks to tries from John Davis, Brian Carey and Farrell.

A Farrell penalty and another Davis score then left it at 23-0 with 53 minutes before Dungannon produced two late tries from Mark Armstong and Mark Farquhar.
