Three second half penalties from out-half Brian O'Mahony separated these sides on the first day of the AIB League at Belfield.

It was 20 each at the break.

Both sides had two tries with Karl Becker and Liam Toland grabbing Lansdowne's efforts and UCD relying on Niall Kearns and David Blaney.
