O'Sullivan prepared for tough qualifiers

Eddie O’Sullivan believes Ireland’s tough World Cup warm-up match with Romania has proved the media were wrong to assume qualification is a formality.

Ireland laboured to a 39-8 victory over the Eastern Europeans in Limerick yesterday as they prepared for a trip to Siberia in two weeks to face Russia and then Georgia a week later in Dublin.
