Ireland have been dealt a blow with news that captain Keith Wood has pulled out of their squad to face Romania on Saturday.

The Harlequins hooker was set to start as Ireland begin their preparations for their World Cup qualifying campaign but pulled out after the death of his brother Gordon this morning.
