Wallace left out of Ireland squad
Ireland have left open two places in their 26-strong party for next month's mini tour of New Zealand.
The selectors are giving more time for back-row forward Anthony Foley to recover from a shoulder injury and for three-quarter Shane Horgan to prove his fitness following an ankle injury - but there is not place for David Wallace.
The only uncapped player in a squad captained by Harlequins hooker Keith Wood is Munster winger Anthony Horgan.
Ruled out through injury are Jonathan Bell (Dungannon), Simon Best (Belfast Harlequins), Emmet Byrne (St Mary's College), Jeremy Davidson (Dungannon), Kieron Dawson (London Irish), Denis Hickie (St Mary's College) and Kevin Maggs (Bath).
Ireland open their three-match tour against a New Zealand Divisional XV in Timaru on June 8 and play back-to-back Tests on June 15 in Dunedin and on June 22 in Auckland.
