Rugby: Four French in championship team
Grand Slam winners France provide just four members of the Zurich Six Nations team of the championship according to the latest world player rankings.
Brian O'Driscoll is Ireland's only representative in the lineup.
Most startling, is the omission of outstanding French back-row Serge Betsen, who grabbed two tries in the 44-5 destruction of Ireland, in favour of England’s Lewis Moody, who only managed just under three hours action time in the entire competition.
Skipper Fabien Galthie, front-row duo Pieter de Villiers and Raphael Ibanez were selected, along with winger David Bory.
However, the vast majority of the team are English, Clive Woodward’s side providing eight men to the composite XV.
Wales and Scotland provide one each.
Zurich Six Nations XV: J Robinson (England), A Healey (England), B O’Driscoll (Ireland), W Greenwood (England), D Bory (France), J Wilkinson (England), F Galthie (France), T Smith (Scotland), R Ibanez (France), P de Villiers (France), M Johnson (England), B Kay (England), L Moody (England), N Back (England), S Quinnell (Wales).
