Six Nations: Marsh in fitness battle

France centre Tony Marsh will undergo a fitness test on his injured calf today to determine whether he can face Ireland in tomorrow’s Lloyds TSB Six Nations decider.

If the 29-year-old Montferrand player is forced to pull out then he could be replaced by Clement Poitrenaud for the game at the Stade de France.

Poitrenaud has only just returned to the France set-up after missing the first four Six Nations clashes because of a shoulder injury.
