AIL: Munsters record second league win

Young Munster 30 Lansdowne 20

Young Munster said farewell to Div One of the AIL League with a deserved 30-10 victory over Lansdowne at Tom Clifford Park.

Munsters, scoring only their second win of the league, had two tries from full-back Clem Casey as well as touchdowns from Rob Henderson, Mike Lynch and Mike Mullins.

The Limerick side led 13-07 at half-time thanks to tries from Irish international Henderson and the first of Casey's brace.

However, Lansdowne had drawn level mid-way through the second half with a drop goal from substitute Brian O'Mahony and a try by Liam Toland.

Relegated Munsters seized the initiative late on and two further tries from Casey and centre Mike Mullins sealed a deserved victory.
