St Mary’s missed out on the play-offs despite this victory over Blackrock.

The home side trailed at the interval 7-6 after Gavin Hickie scored under the posts for St Mary’s and Mark McHugh added the conversion.

Mary’s looked to be out of sight with further tries by Keith Gleeson and Karl Jennings - converted by McHugh, who also added a penalty but the home side got two late scores by Declan O’Brien and Conor Kilroy, who also booted three penalties.
