AIB League: DLSP close to the drop

DLSP’s chances of holding their place in the first division of the AIB League became tenuous following a defeat to Ballymena, who clearly deserved the result in Kilternan.

Sharper forward play and a stronger pack was to see the visitors work up four tries in a victory which relieved their own relegation concerns.

The Northerners tries came through Paul Rogers, Gary Longwell, Adam Gamlin and James Topping, while Richard Chanlin scored a consolation for the home team.
