AIB League: Young Munster relegated after Mary's defeat

Young Munster were relegated from AIB League Division One following their defeat at home to St Mary’s at Clifford Park.

The Limerick side slumped to their 12th defeat of the season with Mary’s scoring after just 65 seconds when scrum half John Kilbride skipped over for a try.

Munster came back five minutes later with a Jason Hayes try but Mary’s gained the ascendancy with two tries from Kieran Lewis in the 17th and 33rd minutes.

Des Clohessy scored a try with 15 minutes to go but Mary’s held on and Munsters were doomed.
