Clontarf 21 19 Lansdowne

A drop goal six minutes into injury time from left-boot of Alan Reddan gave Clontarf a most unlikely win over Lansdowne on the back pitch at headquarters.

In fact they trailed 19-03 in the 53rd minute after out-half O'Mahony shot his fourth penalty.

At that stage there seemed no way back for the winners.

However, their nine game unbeaten run has given them a confidence well beyond their ability.

Full-back O'Brien shot a 57th minute penalty, and tries from Downey and Walls, the latter converted by O'Brien, set up a thrilling climax.
