Leinster are level-pegging with Newcastle at half-time in their re-scheduled Heineken European Cup encounter at Headingley.

Dennis Hickie scored for a try for the Dubliners - which Nathan Spooner duly converted. Leinster added to their tally with an Brian O'Meara penalty.

However, Tom May went over the line for the Falcons and Jonny Wilkinson scored the conversion and a further penalty to keep the British side in touch.
