Rugby: Wood signs new Quins deal

Keith Wood has signed a new one-year contract with the Harlequins.

The new deal will keep Wood at The Stoop until June 2003. The Ireland captain recently made his 100th appearance for the London side.

Quins' chief executive Mark Evans said: "There is no doubt that Keith is a world class player, so this is fantastic news for the club".

Wood will miss Saturday's clash with Zurich Premiership leaders Leicester with a calf strain.
