Rugby: Samoa include six debutants for Irish clash

Samoa have selected six Test debutants to face Ireland at Lansdowne Road

on Sunday.

The Samoans travelled to the northern hemisphere without 12 first choice

players and promptly lost their opening tour match last weekend, 23-18 to

an Irish development XV.

The only change to the pack which went down last Sunday is the inclusion

of Cardiff flanker Semi Sititi, who will also captain the side.

And the arrival of experienced Newcastle star Va’aiga Tuigamala and

Swansea's Brian Lima should bolster the Samoan backline. The pair will

occupy the centre, setting up a mouth-watering clash with Irish duo Brian

O'Driscoll and Kevin Maggs.

The Samoa team to play Ireland this Sunday at Lansdowne Road (2pm) is:

Tanner Vili, Lome Fa'atau, Brian Lima, Va'aiga Tuigamala, Afato So'oalo, Earl Va'a, Steven So'oalo, Tamato Leupolu, Jonathon Meredith, Jeremy Tomuli, Kition Viliamu, Opeta Palepoi, Sioosi Vaili, Semo Sititi, George Stowers.

Replacements: Mahonri Schwalger, Faamaoni Laomilo, Alfie To'oala, Patrick Segi, Denning Tyrell, Too Vaega, Silao Leaega.
