AIL Rugby: Nure dominate Munsters
Young Munster 13 Terenure College 32
Not even the second half introduction of Irish Lion centre Rob Henderson
could revive the flagging fortunes fof Young Munster in today's AIL Div One
game against Terenure College.
Terenure began the stronger outfit.
They led 14-3 after 20 minutes courtesy of a try from centre Michael Smyth and three penalties from out-half Richie Governey.
Young Munster finished the half strongly with a penalty from Michael Lynch and a fine converted try from full-back Jason Hayes to leave the half-time score 14-13 in favour of Terenure.
Henderson was introduced at half-time.
Terenure responded in what was a very one-sided second half with two pushover tries from hooker Cormac Egan, one of which was converted by Governey who also added two penalties.
The final score was 32-13, which was a fair reflection of the Dublin side's dominance.
