Rugby: Carlow take points at Clontarf

Tries from Matt Spiiler and Ian Dwyer secured a richly deserved victory for Co Carlow this afternnon.

It was all square at the break with Clontarf's Jimmy Demspey and opposing number Billy Murphy cancelling each other out with two penalties apiece.

Demspey then landed a drop goal a minute after the restart but it was all Carlow after that with Spiller scoring in the corner with seven minutes to go. And a famous victory was then completed in the dying seconds with Dwyer breaching the Clontarf line on the left hand side.
