Rugby: Howley to lead Barbarians

Rob Howley will lead the Barbarians against Australia at the Millennium Stadium next month.

The British Lions scrum-half will captain the Baa-Baas for the first time against the world champions on November 28.

Howley, who won his 50th cap for Wales earlier this season, said he was delighted by the honour.

Injuries permitting, Howley is set to face the Wallabies twice in four days because Wales tackle them at the Millennium Stadium on November 25.
