European shield: Connacht beat Roma Olympic

In the European Shield in Rome Connacht have pulled off their second victory

beating Roma Olympic 20-10, despite having Johnny O'Connor sent off in the

closing minutes.

The healthy run of the Irish side was however almost halted

by the Rome heat.

However tries from Wayne Munn, Maran Uijkes with Eric Elwood kicking further

points ensured the men from the west won out.
