Celtic League: Leinster thrash Ebbw Vale
Leinster continued their dream start to the Celtic League season, by beating Ebbw Vale 55-13.
They scored eight tries, with centre Adam Magro and full-back Girvan Dempsey each scoring two.
The home side were ahead 31-6 at half-time. They looked sharp in the set-pieces and produced some clever breaks, continually threatening the visitors' try-line.
Full-back Gareth Cull gave Ebbw Vale the lead after five minutes with a well struck penalty.
But Magro, with the first of his two tries, took the Irish provincial side into the lead and after that there was only going to be one outcome.
Further tries came from Dempsey (two), Simon Keogh, another from Magro, Denis Hickie, Nathan Spooner and Eric Miller.
Spooner had a great game, collecting a personal tally of 18 points with a try, five conversions and a penalty.
Scott Mitchell went over for Vale's consolation try.
