Australia captain John Eales will retire from all levels of rugby after the Wallabies' final game of the 2001 Tri-Nations Series against New Zealand.

Australia captain John Eales will retire from all levels of rugby after the Wallabies' final game of the 2001 Tri-Nations Series against New Zealand.

The second-row forward, who has skippered the Wallabies in 52 of his 83 Tests, will play his last match on September 1 when the old rivals clash at Stadium Australia.
