Lions Tour: Charvis banned

Lions forward Colin Charvis has been banned for two matches after being cited following yesterday’s 29-13 first Test victory over Australia.

The Swansea flanker, who went on as a second-half substitute for Scott Quinnell, was adjudged to have dropped his knee on Wallabies prop Nick Stiles.

The suspension means that Charvis will be unavailable for Tuesday’s game against ACT Brumbies in Canberra, and the second Test four days later.
