Australia have suffered an injury scare ahead of Saturday’s first Test against the Lions in Brisbane.

Lock David Giffin is nursing a neck injury after colliding with hooker Jeremy Paul in training, and has been receiving regular physiotherapy.

Giffin is hopeful of being fit to face the Lions but if he does not make it, then either Tom Bowman or Justin Harrison should deputise.

Wallabies coach Rod McQueen will announce his starting line-up tomorrow.
