Lions: 50 points separate the teams

The Western Australia/Lions match is fast turning into a rout for the home side.

The Lions are having all the play their own way and Western Australia have yet to score.

The Lions went through a number of phases deep in their opponents territory from the start, with Scott Quinnell eventually crashing over in the left corner for the first try of the tour, just two minutes in.

Ronan O'Gara added the conversion. Rob Howley added a second try on eight minutes, with O'Gara again adding the two points.

Following a penalty from the Corkman, he was on hand again to send over a tricky conversion following the Lions' third try from Brian O'Driscoll.

Half-time score:

Western Australia: 0

Lions: 50
