Rugby: St Mary's notch up another win

St Mary's 25 21 Ballymena

St Mary's made it five wins in a row in the AIL as they overcame Ballymena

at Templeville Road.

Denis Hickey found Darragh Hughes with a looping pass for an opening try for

the home side but this was cancelled out by a penalty try awarded to

Ballymena after 16 minutes.

James Topping was the most inventive of the Ballymena backs and he added a

try just before the break to leave the half time score at 25-14 to ST

Mary's.

Ballymena got a late try through Shane Stewart with a minute left but it was

too late to prevent a home win.
