Ballymena defeated Galwegians at Eaton Park this afternoon to go second in the All Ireland League, behind Cork Con.

Galwegians lead 18-10 at the break but the game was close throughout the second half, with Ballymena's Neil Doak in flying form.

Ballymena scored a try in the final minutes of the game to seal the victory for the home side.

Galwegians now fall to third in the league.
