Ireland’s senior squad session next week, which was originally arranged for Belfast, has been switched to the University of Limerick because of the foot-and-mouth scare and will be held from Monday to Wednesday next week.

Ireland’s senior squad session next week, which was originally arranged for Belfast, has been switched to the University of Limerick because of the foot-and-mouth scare and will be held from Monday to Wednesday next week.

The Rest of Ireland XV to play Munster at Thomond Park in Limerick on Friday April 13th, kick-off 5 pm, will be selected at the end of the training session.

Shane Horgan, David Wallace, Alan Quinlan, Emmett Byrne and John O’Connor have all been ruled out by injury.

Victor Costello and Tony McWhirter (Ballymena) have been recalled to the squad.
